If you missed the meeting, you missed a very good presentation made by members of the Southeast Newcomer Services.
They are a group set up to help newcomers and immigrants find the information, resources, services and people they need to make their move to Southeast Saskatchewan a success. They schedule language assessment appointments, connect newcomers with career and employment services, provide free access to computer and internet as well as find community groups who share ethno-cultural backgrounds and interests. If you wish to find out more about the programs they offer, send them an email to: newcomerinfo@southeastcollege.org or visit them Monday to Friday from 8:30 - 5:00 in Room 159 at the Southeast College Campus or call at 306-637-4920.
